Covid 19 updates.  May 12th 2020

We hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy during this time and are able to be spending time with family while maybe learning something new.

There are a few updates that we wanted to share with you:

1. Due to the unusual circumstances we are currently experiencing, we will not be holding a June summer camp this year.

2. We will let everyone know by the end of June if we will be holding the July camp.

3. Lessons will continue to be cancelled through the end of June and we will revisit opening for lessons at that time.

4. Since we will not be having a June camp this year we are considering the possibility of holding a few weekend camps in the fall. Stay tuned for more information.

Please continue to check our Facebook page and website for any updates.

Thank you for being patient, keeping everyone safe, and for checking in to see what is happening.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone as soon as the circumstances change and everyone is safe.

We hope you have a wonderful month of May.

Thank you,

Charlie & Gary, Kelsi and Jordyn.

JULY

July 15th, 2020

First deposit for August Camp at TPA

Deposit is a non refundable $150.00

The Second TPA Summer camp of the year is July 20th through the 24th

Cost is $450.00 for the entire week
A non refundable deposit of $150.00 is due by June 15th, 2020

This camp will be 4 hours shorter than either the June Camp or August Camp.

Camp starts at 10 AM and ends at 5 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Camp will end at 1 PM on Friday due to the Ricky Quinn clinic being held over the weekend of July 25th and 26th.

Students ride twice a day with mini clinics, arts, tons of education and fun.
Students will do groundwork, ride bareback, jump, ride western, do drill work and ride cross country.

Bring lunch lots of snacks and a reusable water bottle!

If you have never attended a TPA summer camp, we suggest that the new student come and view what and how we teach at the farm and then schedule a groom and tack lesson and a minimum of two riding lessons.

Our summer camps are very different than many other summer camps.  We don't do a lot of pony painting or leading our students around from the ground.   Summer camp students usually ride a minimum of 2-4 hours a day and many go from not being able to steer or tack up a pony to being able to post a trot, play games and be safe and confident on a different pony each day.

On Friday, the last day of Summer Camp, at 1 PM Sharp we invite parents and friends to the "End of Summer Camp Awards and Celebration."  This is a half hour to hour question and answer, commentary and awards ceremony for our summer camp students.  Its a great way to celebrate new friendships,, hard work accomplished, so much learned, courage found, and  sad goodbyes for the year.

Camp students are invited to come back and watch either the groundwork class starting later in the evening or the riding clinic on Saturday and Sunday

Intermediate students and Advanced students are invited to participate in the groundwork clinic on Friday evening.   Please talk to Jordyn Hanchett for prices, times and availability.

Cost is $450.00 for the entire week
A non refundable deposit of $150.00 is due by June 15th.

RICKY QUINN CLINIC  July 25th and 26th 2020

Ricky Quinn will be at TPA July 25th through -July 26th. We have grown so much as riders, instructors and people through his teaching and always love sharing with our students.  You can come and ride or come and audit.  Either way, you always learn so much.

Talk with Jordyn if you'd like to find out how to sign up to ride, the cost of the clinic, or have any questions about auditing.

We will also be putting in hay all month.   Come and join us for great fun!

A non refundable deposit of $150.00 is due by July 15th.
Camp starts at 10 AM and ends at 5 PM each day.

This camp will focus on the advanced rider who want to do higher fences, more advanced work and advance their own personal teaching skills.  Participants will ride in the morning working on their own riding skills and then help teach and discuss teaching theory, connecting with students and various other skills in the afternoon.

We will be looking for beginner and intermediate students that will help with the program in that they arrive at the farm by 1 for an afternoon 3 hour lesson.  Price for these lessons will be the regular lesson fee of $55.00  All lessons will be under the watchful eye of Charlie, Kelsi and Jordyn.
